For Tony Leone’s Craft Beer Identity Systems class in Fall 2020, I was challenged to rebrand a local brewery. I selected Untold Brewing, based out of Scituate, MA. Untold makes great beer, and they have great stories to tell, but I wanted to think of different and more visual ways of expressing their brand. This project is student work, for non-commercial use
The Strategy:
Untold Brewing doesn’t just brew beer, they brew stories.
The founders’ goal is to tell the stories of their lives through beer, and I helped them do just that. I designed a unified system through which Untold Brewing can effectively tell their personal stories through their unique, craft brews. Untold’s new identity balances classic fantasy and historical book cover aesthetics and flexible, iconography and illustrations to tell their tales and encourage locals to create new stories and memories with a can of Untold.
